PromptShield is designed to check AI prompt drafts for sensitive information before the user sends them.
PromptShield scans prompt text locally inside the user's browser. Prompt text is not sent to PromptShield servers.
PromptShield may store local event metadata in Chrome local storage so the user can review recent checks. This metadata can include:
PromptShield does not intentionally store the full prompt text in its local event history.
PromptShield does not make network requests to collect, sell, or share user prompt content.
